Lenovo Yoga 2 - Need Opinions

Anyone with a Yoga 2, likes and dislikes? What else were you considering? I like the idea of a tablet/laptop but need more of a laptop than a tablet.

Love mine, all depends on what you will be using it for. For me its more of a browse the internet or do a few document/spreadsheet tasks type laptop. I use it in tablet form more than I thought I would. I couldn't find anything better that matches its performance, functionality, and price.

Mine is great. I actually don't use it in tablet mode as much as I thought I would. When folded in tablet mode it's almost too large.
Solid construction, lightweight, and great in tent mode. My only complaint is the 4GB of ram that cannot be upgraded.

I have a yoga 2 and it's really nice. It was pretty much at the top of my list when I was laptop shopping over the holidays and it's everything I expected it to be.
as far as other things I was considering, ASUS makes a similar model and it was #2 on my list. I didn't like the Surface Pro because the keyboard's flimsiness makes laptop use difficult without a table. I looked at the Dell 2-in-1s as well but I didn't really want a Dell due to past experiences with the brand.

I agree. I've borrowed a friend's while on vacation and I'd say the transformability is more of a novelty than something you'll use regularly. It'd be different if the keyboard detached and you could lose some size/weight. So if you buy it, get it because it's a good lightweight laptop, which it is.

These are the exact responses I was hoping for. I need it more for a laptop but nothing powerful. The tablet side is a nice to have. For work it would be a great feature traveling.

I travel a lot for work. The Yoga is perfect for this. Where you are cramped using a laptop on most airplane seat trays, I flip the yoga into the 'stand' mode and it works perfectly.

We bought one for our 7 year old for christmas. It has held up nicely and gets hours upon hours of use with no complaints. Has great battery life also.

Love it, but wish it had more ports.

Love my Yoga. I have the first generation. I think the 2nd and beyond added a backlit keyboard, which would be nice. In the first gen, I had an extra slot to add another SSD drive, which I think they did away with in future generations for some reason.
Overall, I love mine. Like others mentioned, I hardly use the tablet mode, but the option is nice to have.
My aunt accidentally spilled an entire glass of wine on mine, and surprisingly, it's still kicking a year and a half later.
Once this one finally bites the dust, I will probably get another yoga.

What's your budget? I had the Yoga 2 with my prior company and when I left I bought a Surface Pro 3. I like the SP3 more actually. It's more convenient and I enjoy the size as well.
