It all started when GB didn't return the last interception with 5 min left

FIVE minutes left in a 12 point game and you fall to the ground untackled when you had a good chance to get in easy FG range if not score.

GB took their proverbial "foot off the gas" on that play. Aikman is too busy talking and Buck is too full of himself for them to even comment on the play.

I agree. Too much time left and only a two score game.

I think it started on the fake field goal. It wasn't that well executed; one guy was running a route. It looked like Green Bay had never practiced against anything like it.

Every NFL game is not over until you are at least 17 ahead with less than 2 minutes left.

It started on the first drive of the game and the awful decision to kick and continued for the entirety of the game.

It all started when Seattle became GB's opponent. There was absolutely no reason to believe the Packers would win this game. And they didn't.

That play was symbolic of their mindset. Got to keep your foot on the gas.

Seriously this was the only play where they controlled the outcome and the guy drops without ever thinking twice about

I know he didn't want to fumble it but the risk of a fumble is worth it to score another 3 points or more at that point of the game.

Hell, even going for it on 4th down, burning more clock, and forcing Seattle to start their drive 25 yards deeper would have been better. The game was FAR from over at that point - as we all know now.

Exactly. McCarthy is pathetic. He was trying to run the clock out in the 3rd quarter. That prevent D on the 3rd and 19 rushing 2. Nobody thinking SEA would try a fake FG? Again, not trying for first downs late and trying to run the clock out with too much time. Then the INT happened. Then they had a no name idiot for the hands team for an onsides kick.

Fire McCarthy and STs coach at a bare minimum.

I agree with taking the points early, but after the fumble on the kickoff to put you in the same position again I'd definitely try and punch it in for 6.
