I can't remember the last console game I played, I just hate the controls. Like for The Last of Us, I just watched a movie version on Youtube for the story. 
From what I've seen of the Order, I think the only real potential strength of the game will be its story, if they can deliver on that. All of their bullshite talk about going for the 30fps "more cinematic" style leads me to think that gameplay mechanics will be average at best, nothing groundbreaking. That's not a deal-breaker for gamers who prioritize story and characters to gameplay mechanics, but I just don't see this being a good all around game.

Well, that's because it's pretty, but I hardly think it's been hyped much here. It just has a big budget so people are thinking it'll be a huge game?
I'm thinking it'll be fun, but I imagine it'll get torn to shreds by reviews whether justified or not.

There is still a lot of hype for people outside this board although many websites have soured on it. It doesn't help that people are waiting for Sony's first big exclusive of the generation.

Does Second Son not qualify? It got good reviews and is generally well liked. 
Bloodborne still coming in March though.

Second Son had fairly mixed reviews and a lot of 'meh' opinions from people. I just started playing it the other day and am about 25% in. It is pretty disappointing after playing Infamous 2 but it isn't bad.

Huh, new to me. It only has one negative review on Meta, and it's from the site that gave Halo 4 a 2/10 and Last of Us a 6/10, so I don't quite give much merit to their opinion.
I actually didn't play inFamous 2 that much, so I can't compare it to Second Son. I did like SS more than the first though.

A lot of 7's and people saying it was forgettable. It's not bad, just nothing special. 2 is the best one. It is my only platinum in playstation.

Second Son was definitely meh. The production values were great, but the story wasn't good and it took me no joke 15 hours to platinum. That is a big fricking problem.
As far as the The Order goes, I am tentatively excited. It looks great, but I hope it is more than just an average really good looking game.

Know what impresses me the most this generation? the Lighting effects. That is what has brought games to life IMO.

True, it has not been the Bieber level hype Titanfall got.
There was a solid buzz around it as one of the games to show off the PS4 power, but not a console mover.

This is an instabuy for me, has been for awhile now. I hope it doesn't suck but I'm really into the world so far.
