Boom or Bust: The Order 1886

With this game having gone gold and being about a month out, what do you predict it will do? My prediction? BUST
By bust I just mean that it won't reach the lofty expectations. I think it will be decent, but not special or GOTY material. At the end of the year I think it will be very forgettable. The graphics looks terrific but the combat doesn't seem to be anything special. If the story doesn't deliver, the game could actually suck.

Story has potential. From what I read, it really has a Dishonored feel to it.

I gather it will be worth a play through. I think when it's over it will be like Second Son. Some will like it, some won't, but no one will really care in the end.

I heard it just doesn't feel good which is sad because they put so much effort into it and I feel like it should be rewarded. Like I heard that shooting people has no weight behind it. You shoot them and they flop around.

I heard that the camera is really aggravating. Bad camera work can ruin a game.

This console generation, most of the hyped titles have been busts thus far. I don't expect this one to break the trend, but I see it firmly sitting in the 7 out of 10 range.

Yeah this is one I am going to wait a few days to decide if I am going to pick up or not. I've been burned too much lately.

I don't mind the $60 if I feel like I am going to $60 worth of content. I'm just way more reluctant to preorder games anymore, especially since I've gone all digital.

I think it will be a disappointment. It looks like it should be good, but the reactions have even very mixed by those that have played it.

Expectations have been pretty low, most people said this game was going to suck.
