Help me finish this recipe - Fried sardines with artichoke pasta

I have this idea for dinner tonight. We have been eating heavy recently and wanted something a little lighter...
I have some decent olive oil packed sardines. Thinking about drying them and frying them in olive oil and peppers.
Then making an artichoke pesto to go over egg noodles.
Thoughts? Can I add something else? Help me FDB.
