Weimaraner? No way.

American Bulldogs are fantastic family pets. They are the true southern dog. They do everything. And they truly have stopping power.

My female is protective, my males are not. With that being said my oldest male, when he still had his balls, never lost a fight. He would grab a dog and flip them into a submissive position if the dog gave him any shite. He had a low tolerance for bullshite from other dogs...

Ours is somewhat protective, but not chew your face off protective.

The UPS driver is deathly afraid, she tries to eat him through the window. Many on here have met her and you would never think she is that way and if any of the family is present she is fine, but I wouldn't want to be a robber entering my home...

I have a friend that breeds them (used to don't think he does any more), it will meet all the requirements of the OPs list except #6 - his were very loyal, kid friendly, and visitor friendly as long as he was there.

Boxer, if not hunting

Ill third or whatever this.

My boxer is great with the infant and loves my sisters 1 and 3 year olds. She is a big boxer though, around 80 lbs. She is gentle with the kids and has never knocked any of them over. She has knocked me over though while playing, caught me off balance.

Boxers need lots of attention though, they have tons of energy. Just when you think you wear them out, they are ready to go again. She does shed quite a bit, but a roomba keeps control of that.

As far as hunting, not a chance. This dog wont sit still long enough for that.
