A helpful BR driving tip until the Stumberg extension is completed.

Why a left turn is allowed onto Jefferson off of Pecue is ridiculous and the people that turn left should be beheaded. One left turner totally fricks it up for everyone.
There's a cop that hides out in the skating rink parking lot sometimes giving out chickenshit tickets to people who cut thru.
Here's the tip:
There are Goodwill dumpsters in that parking lot so if you see the cop when you cut thru just stop at the Goodwill bucket and throw something in....You're welcome.

I think that it is chicken shite to cut through the parking lot to avoid the intersection. .....

He also watches that intersection for people who don't come to a "complete" stop at the stop sign. He pulls people over two at a time for that one.

I been cussing that intersection since 1991(when I got my license to drive to school at Woodlawn).
I always just stop and check a tire when a cop is in a parking lot. Don't convolute the age-old trick to telling a cop to frick off for that chickenshit ticket.
I've done it for years cutting through Calandros at perkins and siegen. Never failt.

Why would you need to cut through Calandro's? 5:00 afternoon traffic? The lights work well at that intersection.

Oh dear baby Jeezus where you been? at 4pm heading east on Perkins is a nightmare as it backs up to Barkley Place/Oak Brook. If I forget to cut through barkley place and sit for 10 more minutes i'll cut through to go south on Siegen. There's a reason that intersection is getting upgraded soon with the Perkins widening.

Assuming you are east bound on Perkins and wanting to turn south bound on Siegen, then cut through Barkley Place (take a left on King James) or cut through Oak Hills - both come out on Siegen.

Utility work. Had to move power lines and phone lines.
They just narrowed the turn lane between Jefferson and Stumberg to shift the lanes over.
Weird seeing a complete road just die into nothing.

That's what I was saying. If i'm just cruising along and go OH frick when I miss Oakhills and Barkley(Usually it's not backed up past Barkley).
You go in the Do Not Enter spot by the paint store.
and cut across that bitch real quick.
