You'll be able to get ceappy seats fairly easily I think even if it sells out at first.

That's 60,000 envelopes received.

They estimate about 350,000 individual ticket requests over the 3 days.

They are only allowed to sell a certain amount through the mail ordering. There will still be a ton available for the online sale if they are doing this thing correctly.

Obviously I hope that is the case, but what makes you confident in that?

Yep. Cancelling the presale too. Ticketmaster servers may explode on the 28th

ETA: Any idea how many tickets were available through the mail order?

gents

i would not be surprised, at all, if GDTS TOO fulfills a good many of those 60000 requests. this is really the last hurrah for a long, long standing tradition of dead tickets by mail order. after this, its just P&F and whatever bobby decides to do. GDTS was revolutionary when it started, and is integral to the "scene" however trite it may seem now.

lets say they fulfill 50000 at 2 tickets per, thats 100000 tickets sold in presale. that would at least be 2/3 of the total available to be sold. ticketmaster will be open for about 30 seconds on 2/28 before the rest are gone, probably less with all the fricking ticket bots.

gonna be an aftermarket frenzy
