Don't break your neck trying to get to Chicago for the Core 4th unless you really want to see Trey with them, I won't judge you. These are not the only shows planned. THE promotor is offering $80 million to them to setup shop for a week in NY/SF in August sans Trey.

I'd honestly rather hear that. I could see his tone and sound and "voice" on guitar coloring the Deads sound a little too much with Phishiness. That doesn't appeal to me.

Ill be so disappointed if they do shows with fake jerry. The thing i like best about trey is that he'll have his own voice and wont just be a jerry clone. I think a rotating cast of guitarists would be cool. Kimock would kill it.

this is a total joke. I know they'll do something here in SF to go out on. just inescapable. and it is the airplane's 50th too. they could ask and the city would give them the keys to golden gate park in a heartbeat and if not, shoreline was BUILT FOR THEM by bill graham.

Can't believe they are having a "Farewell" show and then possibly going to book more shows. This whole process has been pretty awful.

AmEx and/or Visa Signature card holders. Call your concierge service and request tickets. They do not guarantee tickets, but they have more people trying for tickets than just you. I use this for Phish Trrr and have never been shut out of a show. They even take request on what section you prefer, and you can put the sections in order of importance. I requested 119-128 or 219-228 or GA Floor and if those aren't available, I made sure the tickets DO NOT have an obstructed view or NO VIEW. The tickets behind the stage have no view. AND MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM FACE VALUE ONLY, they will buy on stubhub for you if not.
