Thats pretty awesome because whoever had it before me took incredible care of it. Looks brand new.

Anyone recommend good grips?

No dash is considered the cream of the crop with pretty much any smith revolver.

You probably got a much better deal than you realize. That's a fine arse piece of iron there.

Yeaaaa you got a good one.

Don't get rid of it. You stole that thing if nothing is wrong with it.

Eta: on second thought you should get rid of it. If it really is like new I'll bring you $600 tomorrow for it

Good to hear! Was a super impulse buy but glad I decided on it.

Didn't have time to shoot it but got it from a great gun shop I've been going to forever.

I think you've covinced me to hold on to it for awhile, can't wait to put some rounds through it. And I've got quite the craving to bust some hogs with it

686's are sweet shooters. The triggers are really good and they weigh enough to make .357mags very easy to shoot. You'll be happy with that one. It's right up there with the colt python and smith 66 for finest double action .357 IMO.

I really like the feel of the trigger, pumped to try it out.

Is there any grips you would recommend, i know Ahrends were mentioned and they looked pretty nice. (I like the look of the wood grips)

And thanks for all the info, been extremely helpful
