He's been one of the Patriots' best FA acquisitions in recent memory. Brady has said he's like a running back after he catches the ball.

Good read! He has come a long way since his drop problems early at LSU. I will never forget the play against Auburn where it hit him right in the numbers and he just tossed it in the air to the Auburn guy. I started at LSU at the same time as LaFell and me and my college buddies still call him JoJo LaDrop. He was and will always be one of my favorite tigers! Ever since his first career catch...the long TD from JaMarcus against ULL.

Wasn't it Brandon LaFell Les Miles first recruit for LSU. If my memory is correct he was recruiting LaFell to Ok St and when Les came here LaFell also came.

Always nice to see former Tigers in the NFL doing great. Has to be one of the best recruiting tools that LSU enjoys. Odel will certainly make LSU viable for the next 10 yrs. And Hill,Ware,Landry, & hopefully Metenburger.

Had him on my fantasy team this year, he put up a lot of points for me! Glad to see him doing well, Carolina has to be kicking themselves for letting him go. Not to mention Steve Smith, who apparently still has some gas left in the tank.
