To put this into perspective, LSU fans are unhappy about hiring a position coach to be a DC, and the guy has DC and HC experience, and they have only been search for a couple of weeks.
The 49ers just hired a position coach with no experience beyond that to be head coach, and they knew they would be looking for a new coach all year.

Don't worry. I've been a 49er fan my entire life and they just hired my last choice for HC. Top it off with LSU hiring my last choice for DC and I'm glad there's no football for a while.
