Raymond at DB

Bebe coaching the defensive line

Steele was coaching Alabamas LBs.. Alabama is basically LB-U this decade.. So for Saban to trust him with that speaks volumes

We upgraded recruiting and coaching wise.. Scheme remains to be seen

Personally, I thought Alabama's linebacker play dropped off a little this season. Coincidence perhaps?

If their LB play dropped off, then their secondary play rolled over and stroked out

Bama LBs were hurt a lot this past season...DePriest and Duvall were out a lot, IIRC.

That would all be great position coaches. Its the scheme and game planning/play calling I'm worried about.

Even if Bama's LB play dropped off a little this year they were still really really good...Ragland is a freaking monster.

Be interesting to see what type of LB we start recruiting now. For the most part, Chavis liked smaller, quicker guys at the position while Bama tended have much bigger guys there.
