We know how the fans feel about the Steele hire, what about the players?

Any of you Twitter stalkers see anything from some current players about it? I'm curious how they feel about it.

What do you assume the fans feel about the hiring?

It seems like an overwhelming majority on here aren't thrilled with it. Or do you feel like I'm making that up?

And most of the people on here have no clue what is going on. I'm not going to get all worked up over a bunch of know it alls thinking this is going to be awful. No one knows what will happen so stop acting like it. He never had the talent that we have here at Clemson and last time I checked, the LB's from BAMA have been the best in the country the past 3 years.

This isn't a "everything is going to shite thread." Whether they are right or not about the hire, most of the fans feel a certain way about it. I was curious if any of the current or even future players have voiced their opinion. If anything I feel like they would have a better grasp on how things are going than most people here.

Guy, why would you want a guy who wasn't good with ok talent to coach great talent? I'd want a guy who has been coaching with any talent well enough to produce upper level results. Go look at their recruiting ranking in his three years at Clemson. They were 5th, 4th, and 2nd in the ACC with several top 250 recruits. He pulled in 3 of the top 10 OLBs in 2011 with two of them being 5 stars and #1 and #2 in the country.

Other than his great recruiting skills I don't see the reason for the hire.

I'm not going to break tables, but I'm not excited either. Will just have to wait and see.

Are people upset because we think we didn't get a good LB coach? Nope. So go ahead and tell me why we shouldn't be upset about his DC past and stop erecting straw man arguments.
