LSU 2003 and 2007 National Championship Questions

Reading all the reports from Columbus, Ohio yesterday; like 89 fires were set:
I may be young to remember 2003, but I don't remember in 2007 there being reports like this in Baton Rouge. Did things like this happen in Baton Rouge back then?
quote:
Columbus Division of Police Crowd Response After The Ohio State University National Championship:
*6-7 arrests mainly related to fire issues (couches, dumpsters set on fire)
*Approximately 8,000 people broke into Ohio Stadium damaging the gate & tearing down a goal post
*Police & Fire vehicles were surrounded making movement difficult
*Thousands of people converged onto High St. Many refused to get out of the street despite air horns & loud speakers being used repeatedly to advise the crowds to clear the streets
*The least amount of force was used in crowd control, canister gas was used
*CPD had nearly 100 additional officers on duty to ensure safety, many kept over on overtime
*CPD officers received a great amount of "thank-you's" on campus for their professionalism in handling the crowds
***Overall... a great night/early morning by responsible partiers & CPD! Way to go Bucks!***

We have Bourbon Street.

That is true. Big difference from Columbus, Ohio to Dallas, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana to New Orleans, Louisiana.
Just don't ever feel like I hear riots or things like this happen when teams win.
Worst I've heard is the Krystal Burger mishap after LSU/Bama.
