Purely for the recruiting side. Miles lives and dies by recruiting because he is a terrible game day coach. Miles needs the talent to keep coming in so he isn't completely exposed.

I would like to think so. I would have liked one of the bigger names out there, but I'm not gonna trash this dude for sucking at Baylor. Baylor was shite for a long time.

I think the real reason is Les wants to stop coaching after next year, but wants to keep getting paid through 2019.
