Recruiting will take a nose dive because tamu will dominate and take a bunch.
Our facilities have fallen significantly behind and we won't have the money to upgrade them due to declining ticket sales.
Les won't be fired for another 3 years. We won't pull the plug because we are cheap.

Please just tell me one positive to come out of this?

Nothing you just said is true or accurate.

The one positive is that Miles is closer to being fired. Not really even debatable IMO. We fortunately have a lot of resources as a program but we will see how resilient it can be.

Can LSU ever recover from this? You're kidding, right? I'm not crazy about the hire but Steele's got a decent pedigree and he is a good recruiter. So there's nothing to recover from. And LSU got over Curly Hallman so just about anything is possible.

Good lord!! The hire has just been made!! You are being overly dramatic about this. LSU football will fine. It is not falling apart. If it doesn't work out, then wholesale changes will be made. This may end up being a good hire. It's the players that matter most. The last time that I checked, then LSU had some really good defensive players.

Steele may suck as DC, but he can recruit his arse off. Recruiting will probably get better.
