The only bright spot I see is that this will accelerate the timeline on Les/Alleva leaving. Hopefully the timing lines up with Chip flaming out in Philly.

With the weird Miles clause in Chavis' contract that was apparently worth losing Chavis over, and now this awful hire, it does seem there is something afoot. Alleva anticipating Miles' retirement or setting him up for failure.
