Planning a Bachelor party trip to Houston in August. Probably looking to drive Friday afternoon and stay two nights. Astros game Saturday, some Top Golf, drinking both nights etc. Any suggestions on accommodations? They'll be 7 of us total. What other must-do's should be on our list?

As a person that has lived in Houston for 3.5 years now and love it, don't have the bachelor party in Houston. I always say that Houston is great to live in but shitty to visit since there isn't really anything in particular to do.

Besides the obvious strip club reply there are some pretty cool go-kart tracks in Houston.

I'm not knowledgeable on Houston's night life or anything, but we're coming from BR. It's close enough and it's not New Orleans again. The Astros game is a big part, I know the groom will be pumped about that. Your typical strip club and bar hopping bachelor party stuff can happen anywhere, I'm sure Houston has that.

Hotel ZaZa is the coolest place to stay, IMO.

Depends on a lot though. If y'all are young and planning to cram 7 people into a room (which I don't recommend), don't waste your time with a nice place and just get an extended stay type of hotel.

We're all 27+, with a couple of new dads in the group. No one wants to spend a fortune, but we ain't roughing it either.

By the way, great avatar

That was my plan, but we did a Rockets game instead, due to baseball not being in season. We hit Midtown afterward and stayed at the Embassy Suites right by the convention center/Toyota center. The breakfast the next morning was a life saver.

ETA: We were planning on going out in City Centre after TopGolf, but ended up closing down TopGolf. We did that Friday night then hit the Rockets game/midtown Saturday. TopGolf is open till 2 AM on weekends, so you can get your drink fix in. We played loser buys next round, and every time someone scored a 0 and missed the nettings completely, they had to drink. It started as shots, but got rough quickly, so we swapped to just a drink.

This is where we stayed last time we went. It was only like $89 a night at the time. Location was legit.
