My boss was caught in L'Enfant Plaza waiting for the Orange Line when it happened.

I've never been impressed with DC Metro when comparing with the London underground, Chicago L and NYC subway.
I feel like the waits were outrageous.
Regardless, I have a lot of friends in DC and hate to see this happen.

Unless something changes, end of April.
I had to go for work this past September, liked it so much the wife and I decided to go for fun. I stayed at the Residence Inn in Rosslyn last time. Not technically DC, but close enough haven't made a final decision on where we'll stay this go round. I liked that location, but don't know any better.
