Don't listen to the other Hog fans. They're just bitter. Ash is a terrific DC. Probably one of the top 5 in college football. If LSU can steal him away from OSU for something reasonable like $750K/year, it would be a home run hire.

i only joined in because i saw the rest. we're happy with his replacement as has been noted in this thread. we have no reason to be bitter towards ash tho- he was here a year, he didn't burn the place down or anything? congrats on his success this season, sincerely but no one is lying when they said we had dramatic improvement after he left. look at the #'s, they don't lie.

I didn't understand it from the Luke Fickell aspect. Fickell just finished serving as OSU's interm coach and had thoughts of being their HC when Tressel was fired.
He doesn't go back to being a co-coordinator along side Ash, if Ash is an unqualified coordinator that needs a job.
I'd think Urban Meyer and Luke Fickell are smarter and more talented than to allow that to happen.
