Had the Big12 just established a champion, they're probably in instead.

That said pretty amazing what Jones and Elliot have done the last three games.

TCU showed they belonged.

truth is, every game is different. Oregon is missing a couple of important starters. Some substitute dropped an open pass at the 8 yard line in the first half.

Tcu/baylor got screwed over when Oklahoma lost the day before the playoff selection. That was a quality win on both of their schedules that dropped a good notch.

Combine that with the way tOSU handled Wisconsin, and the awful conference and ooc schedules they played and the committee made the right decision.

The committee took the easy way out by not messing with TCU/Baylor debate. Meyer's bailing them out.
