retarded. this is what..2 steps?

1. open API for directTV user login/pw
2. share with watchESPN app
3. there is no step three.

sounds like corporate shenanigans to me that this still isn't available.

DirectTV has to pay ESPN for DirectTV customers to have access to WatchESPN. Since ESPN demands such a high premium per customer I can see why they are hesitant to get on board.

Nah bruh, it's not active yet because it is a new deal between DirecTV and ESPN, their current deal doesn't run out and kick over to this new deal for another month or two, that's why it's not up yet, old deal has to expire first.

There old deal expired at the end of Sept 2014. They were negotiating under the old deal. The new deal is done. Channel 615 Espn Buzzer Beater which is part of the new deal went live last weekend. Their just taking their sweet as time getting the login on WatchEspn set up.
