Watched this movie last night and I enjoyed it. I had no idea what it was about going in. I only knew Christoph Waltz was in it so I decided to give it a try. It was actually pretty good. Waltz gave another stellar performance.

Yeah I'm surprised at how little attention this movie got. I've only seen a couple of previews for it. You'd think it would have gotten a bigger marketing push with Tim Burton directing starring Amy Adams and Waltz.

I thought that it had a pretty big marketing push for an indie film. Tons of commercials up until its release a couple of weeks ago.

Almost great movie. Christoph Walsh is wearing thin in these movies. He's almost a caricature of himself at this point.

Other than a few cartoonish scenes on his part, it's a really good film.

I agree on Waltz. One of the largest reasons I was excited for this film is that it gave Waltz the opportunity to expand on the character he usually plays and add some depth to his usual schtick.

He did not deliver. It was basically the same character he always plays, just dialed down slightly. Really disappointed in his performance in this one

I don't get the hype on Waltz. same zone as Sam Jackson in my book.

I really liked it. It didn't come off as a typical Tim Burton movie at all

I know what it's about and the story behind it. Same with foxcatcher. Should I still watch it or is it more of intending it to be a plottwist or something like that takes away from the movie.

I just watched this, I really liked it. I thought Christoph Waltz and Amy Adams were perfectly cast. Margaret Keane says he acted just like her husband, so I can't knock his performance, even if it appears to be classic/cliché Waltz.

I loved look of the film, the late 50s scenes, the colors, and the softness. I thought maybe they were going for a Kodachrome look, and that appears to be the case:

Same character in everything, which works to perfection in a Tarantino film? Not a bad comparison
