Diamond Bear Brewery

Anyone ever had them? Went home to Avoyelles Parish and found this random beer in one of the mom and pop grocery stores. Diamond Bear Rocktoberfest. Not too bad. They claim they were voted best brewery in R Kansas

I've had 3 or 4 of their beers. All have been mediocre at best. The Two Term IPA is a fricking mess.
Ozark Brewing Co. is a whole lot better brewery out of Arkansas.

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't have stuck around long enough to see what kind of bear it was. I would have GTFO.

No this was a very friendly bear. He was working the register. Even offered me a sucker after the purchase.

Nice timing. I bought their Two Term dipa the other day in Pine Bluff. Had one last night. It's almost worse than Pine Bluff itself. Turrible

Yeah. Diamond Bear sucks for Arkansas breweries. It's a shame that they're currently our most widely distributed. As someone else said, Ozark Beer Company is probably my favorite. Their APA is really, really nice and is my daily drinker.
Core Brewing is another Arkansas company that is starting to can and distribute outside the state. They're very ambitious and aggressive with their expansion, but their offerings aren't as good as OBC, imo.
