This is how you play basketball, i dont understand why our offense just stands around on the floor most of the time.

Isn't this what Musselman was brought in to do?

I thought so too. Its just frustrating knowing that we have the talent, but the Xs and Os are just head scratching. It makes me worry about the talent we have coming for next year.

Well, help to develop plays in practice and in the offseason so thst we are consistently moving and creating space.

I know what you mean Omaha.

Musselman was an NBA level coach and was supposed to be the Xs and Os guy, but the offensive side of the ball looks exactly like last years team.

Guess LSU should have kept John Brady...He smoked Coach K in the Sweet 16.

Because JJ is a hell of a recruiter, but not much of a coacher.

Yeah, we just seem to pass the ball around the perimeter and then take a contested outside or inside shot.

Not the point of the thread at all, plus John Brady was dreadful

I believe Johnny truly wants to run & gun but our depth doesn't allow us to play that intense of defense this year. I think that's his ball philosophy. Imo

JJ can draw up some great plays and has some good sets, seems like he likes to let his players play though...

Yeah we really miss him, he's torn it up at Arkansas State over the last 7 years making 0 tournaments whatsoever.

This is just like when Dale Brown brought in Tex Winter. Dale barely let Tex do anything and Tex left after only a couple years.

I suspect the same is happening with Musselman. He's leave too soon, I'm afraid.
