Former Utah Jazz dancer arrested for having sex with underage student

Amber Telford of Taylorsville was arrested Friday for investigation of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The 33-year-old Telford, who owns Colette's Dancing School, is accused of having sex with the 17-year-old boy seven times between September and December.
According to a jail document, the activity was discovered on Nov. 28 after Telford's estranged husband hired a private detective.
Police said Telford had sexual activities with the boy at her home, her mother's home and in her vehicle, Salt Lake City's Fox 13 reported.
The private investigator posed as a strip mall security guard as he found Telford and the victim inside her studio; both her and the boy were naked under a blanket, police said

No kidding.
Hundreds (thousands?) of 17 year olds get tried as adults in the criminal justice system, but we will be damned....DAMNED I tell you if we acknowledge that they have the ability to consent to sex with an adult.
