I am playing a connected franchise in M15. When I go to to the Team Salaries section in the roster management section it shows the following at the top:
Cap: $168M
Salaries:$151M
Cap space: $14.3M
2034 cap penalty $3.04M
2035 cap penalty $2.7M

Yet when I try to resign a player it shows I have -$7.32M in cap space.
What is the deal with this? One menu shows I have cap space and another doesn't.

Just for reference I have $74.3M in funds.

Depending on how many draft picks you have will effect the "rookie reserve" cap. The higher the picks in the next draft will result in a higher reserve for them. Hence why it will say you have 14 million but only truly have around 7 after the reserve takes its toll.
