We played a very bad game on the road, but plenty of games ahead of us. We have many quality players on the team. As for our coach, a week ago all of you people that are in melt down mode at the moment were worshiping and saying he was the best thing for our program. (Might I add the same people who bash Miles). I am confident that he will get these boys coached up. LSU will make the tourney, and if they don't I will never post on this site again. Any negatigers wanna make this bet?

Until the interior defense improves and LSU prevents driving right down the middle of the lane they will struggle to stop anyone. You can't rely on Mickey to block everything and Martin obviously doesn't want to defend down low.

Until they stop throwing the ball away and giving away possessions they will not win many SEC games either.

Very undisciplined effort to say the least.

This place just goes crazy after a loss in anything. People were predicting around 6-7 SEC losses anyway, they just hate seeing them actually happen. I agree it's a long season, and we'll know a lot more about this team after we play UGA tomorrow.

You probably thought Miles was going to coach the boys up for a nice bowl W against inferior talent as well. But seriously, the season is long and there is plenty of time to make this game just a bump in the road. However, they looked bad against a bad team with about 20 people in the crowd. The 1st SEC game is not the time to show up and look like you don't care. Turnovers galore, tons of missed free throws in crunch time, no offensive plan or rhythm and little defense to keep Mizzou out of the lane left little optimism. Pollsters and the tournament committee always seem to pay attention to those first conference games. So naturally, people were upset. Hopefully, they can get back on track fast.
