Regardless of what y'all think they are. We have a top 25 caliber starting five (im counting TQ as a starter) but we don't have much off the bench outside of patterson. At the beginning of the season I thought we could be a bubble team and I still think we can be and realistically we are looking at the NIT. NIT wouldn't be a bad trip for them anyways. I think Mickey and Martin won't leave and shouldn't. But I'm still optimistic we only have 3 loses and its the first game of SEC play. We still got half a season to get better and prove ourselves.

The official LSU basketball slogan is but we're going to be really good next season.

Man what a disappointment. This is how we always play on the road. Our bigs get in foul trouble and then we make stupid turnovers.

How does a team with no pure basketball player. Not one, have the ability to be a work in progress.

We still free lance on offense 75% of the time and our defense always goes for the block every time an opponent hits the lane. Face it we are out coached in another sport almost every game.

Welcome to playing on the road in the SEC. Nobody wins on the road other then Kentucky and Florida.

The problem with the NIT is that nobody gives a shite about the NIT. There are 64 teams that make the NCAA tournament. It's not a 4-team playoff that is hard to make like in football. This was not a good team LSU lost too. Johnny coached with the most passion he has coached with against WV. He needs to pick it up a few notches if he wants his team to do anything that anyone cares about.

Well if we can't beat the weaker sec teams on the road, forget the tourney.

Well Arkansas and Tennessee won on the road too. We needed to keep pace. This was one of those games we needed and SHOULD have won.

We have had 3 coaches in the last decade, its a whole new program when a new coach comes to town. Do you really think coach Jones thinks he has the best team in the country, no he doesnt, but he has laid a good foundation and has good players coming in. Stop trolling and go talk about how awful the football team/miles is.

This team under a good coach should be a 2nd round NCAA team. Our Recruiter unfortunately is not a very good "coach". We'll probably go to NIT and that is piss poor with our talent.

LSU will never be known as a school with smart athletes or coaches in football or basketball. Nor has it ever been.

Why do you think we've had 3 coaches in the last decade then? Short story short, we have been mediocre for the last decade. I wasn't trolling when I said what I said. And yes, I'm quite critical of the football team as well.

It provides the team to experience post season play, which most of our players have not played in.
