First Prestige in COD:AW?

I know there is time sensitive "loot", meaning you can only use it for a certain amount of time. It's usually that goofy looking helmet. Permanent is the different weapons and gear. You can redeem most of it for XP. BE WARNED that it doesn't tell you what weapons you have equipped in a class (or at least it wasn't super obvious). Lost my favorite gun that way.

I'm close to 50, so maybe I'll play around with it. I know before you were given tokens, so if you had 3 tokens, you could keep 3 items when you prestiged.

You can keep one permanent unlock. That is a gun, perk, or killstreak. Your armory items do not go away when you prestige. They are still there when you unlock the gun through ranking up.

ETA: If you like Hardline, or the AMR9, unlock one of those as they are in the 40s before you unlock. Don't use it on something you get in the first 20 ranks as you get there pretty quick.

Use the permanent unlock on a gun or perk that you like to use but won't get until after level 30.

As for the loot, once you prestige you keep all of your loot, but will only have access to it once the weapon is unlocked. I'm pretty sure permanent loot is just random but it doesn't count against the 84 spots in the armory.

FWIW I took the IMR on my first prestige and Danger Close on my second. I will probably take the Exo Trophy system on my third since I tend to play objective based games like Domination and Hard Point.
