WTF is a UMX phone?

Sorry for the tl:dr (no need to read it all) rant, just need to read the last 2/3 sentences and get the question.... Sorry again, am frustrated I just had to ride an hour in middle of lunch to go get my phone to pull a damn number off of it!! Ahhh, shite i'm losing it again... i'm out... TIA for any suggestions... even maybe an iphone tutorial for someone in their 50s (yeah it's sad, only 50's, not like she is in 70's)
Seriously, I've NEVER heard of this before!!
What a cheap piece of crap... No wonder when I asked my mom to please, "Get my phone and pull a number off of my phone for me, and call me back real quick?", she wasn't able to do it.... She literally called me back from her cell phone and I "ATTEMPTED" to try and talk her through it before I had to give up...
But yeah I asked her "WHat sorta phone did she have?" and it's this crap...
So i'd like to ask, any phones that I could get her that isn't such a piece of junk that would have "VERY" easy learning curve?...
SHe really doesn't care about learning anything new it seems altho she "talks" about getting on the laptop or whatever...
It just really pissed me off(not really at her) when I couldn't talk her through just turning my i5c on and pulling off a single phone number!! frick, i'm still sorta pissed it seems. I mean she was pulling up my photos somehow and commenting on shite she probably shouldn't be looking at
it was as frustrating as it would be to teach a Neanderthal how to drive, OVER THE PHONE. Or how Amazon is amazing to CAD703X
But yeah I think if I got her an easy usable (something that looks similar with the full keyboard, i'd guess
really), but a "Decent" phone that she would actually like to use/play with it to figure it out, then i'd be on my way to getting my mom into the 21st century...No need to spend much as she may/may not use it for anything but a brick like phone with the occasional text... Anything relatively cheap that could fit this bill?

First off I am upset (not with my mom) but how technology kige she is... that's slow or retard..
2ndly, I'd like to upgrade her phone to something a little better than the "UNX MXC-570 phone
" but something not "too advanced" for a 56 y/o woman comparable to a Neanderthal when it comes to any technology.
Extra lagniappe from here on out:
3rdly (if you care about why I was so upset) I had to drive an hour one way on my lunch just now to go get my iPhone5c that she was unable to turn on and get a single contact number off of it for me. The kicker is after I told her to get it off my phone and to call me back with it, I had to wait 20min for her to call me back and tell me "I don't know how to turn it on", so I proceed to try and talk her through it for another 20min until I came to the frustrating (not with her so much) conclusion that she wasn't going to figure it out over the phone. She made it to my "personal" pics somehow and decided to make comments on them... Also the kicker with all of this, I was trying to just get her at one point to just HOLD the HOME BUTTON and then just ask seri for the contact, but her response was "there isn't any buttons on this phone", that's when I hung-up and cleared my schedule for 190 minutes on a busy day to drive and go pick my phone up, just to get the damn number off of it...

UMX looks like a cheap phone maker, if it's not a dumb phone it looks like it's probably an Android. Since you have to trouble shoot for her, she doesn't know what to do, and you have an iPhone, get her the cheapest iPhone. That way you'll at least be able to tell her how to do things.

I understand she has been a stay-at-home mother and raised us 3 boys just fine w/o the "technology", but it's like she is 20+ years older than she is...
For the record: I'm not frustrated or Mad at her for not being able to get a contact off of my phone

I just mentioned to her about finding one of my old iphones or getting her a used cheap one (since i knew she wouldn't want me spending any real money on one) and her exact words to me after mentioning upgrading to i4/4s were. "NO WAY I can't do those iphones with nothing but a screen! They don't even have buttons for me to dial or text with! Actually if you want to upgrade my phone, find me one that flips up to answer PLEASE, I never have any trouble with those since I know it's turned off or on when it's open or closed."... God you have to love "old(er)" people that are ornery and don't give a frick, but she shouldn't be at that phase yet at 56.... ammiright with my assessments and ideas?
