Twin peaks.

Chicken fried steak, 29 degree beer, denham skanks.

I think Sammy's might be a good option.

I used to get it a lot at Sammy's, and the first few bites are good, but you get sick of it fast. It is so greasy and heavy.. and they must share oil because it tastes exactly like their fries.. exactly like their fried seafood.. etc.

People love Dempseys' CFS. It was a little too spicy for me, but it is good.

When Sammy's does not over-bread the meat its pretty good. I really like their gravy. Dempsey's is my favorite. Too bad its only a once a week lunch special. I hear Superior Grill has one off the menu. Anyone tried it?

Does Chelsea's still serve CFS? They had a good one back in the day.

I think Sammy's is very consistent, I also enjoy Dempsey's.
Occasionally I enjoy the one at Cracker Barrel.

BTW, Sammy's CFS is really yummy.

Lots of places serve em, but not all of em are good.

My list of good CFS:
Chilis-probably the best you can get. Not joking.
Franks
Sammy's-pretty good deal too
George's
Dempsey's-Although I find it hard to not get the cup and a half when I'm here.

My list of not good CFS:
Piccadilly-I've heard they used to be good but the ones I've had were clearly prebreaded frozen
Cracker Barrel-same verdict as the Dilly
