Per Shea...He is looking at LSU and Oregon. Keeping quiet until after the NC game.

Braxton Miller to LSU

ETA: Could play immediately as he has already graduated.

I have heard from a source inside my head that is saying this is going to happen.

(I think that is how everyone does it now.)

would definitely prefer him to Golson. Good thing he gets to announce his decision first.

If it down to these 2 schools ... I think it would have to be LSU. An OSU Oregon NC game is a nightmare for him trying to transfer there. It's lose lose at this point picking Oregon. He'll either leave his school for the team that beat him in the NC or he'll transfer to the team that just lost to his team in the NC. Either way it seems awkward.

I agree with you. Although, what kind of message would this send to A Jennings and B Harris?

Golson is a better passer than Miller and has not been injured several times or even once. Golson is more of an escape artist QB instead of a second RB like a typical dual threat. He uses his legs to get out of jams and pick up first downs. He is definitely a passer first.

If we can't get Golson, I just want Harris to develop this year.

This is college football not daycare.

If these guys want any shot at the next level they ought to enjoy the competition.

I'd take either Miller or Golson just to add some belief that we may have a qb that can win some games for us next season. I agree that Golson seems to be the best overall option for our offense and what we return. Miller would be a monster threat running the ball. I think Harris' development under either one of these guys would be a huge impact on his maturity and approach to the game. With Miller, I think it's more likely to still see Harris get reps because he'll still be the most gifted passer. With Golson, I'm not sure Harris would play much unless Golson turns the ball over a ton.

Would make us a viable playoff team next year but long term would this do more harm than good?

Being a viable playoff team with the best in state class of possibly all time; that's a good thing.

If harris transfers because of something like this, then he doesn't need to be on this team anyway. Just my opinion..

And I still have faith in harris being the guy of the future

yeah, but what if Jennings does?

You need thick skin. I think Harris understands the situation and I hope it motivates him.

Jennings can go...just eliminates the option of les playing favorites and starting someone worse than the backup

I hate to be the burden of bad news, but Les Miles has no choice but to start Harris (if Miller or Golson do not transfer) next year. Jennings has reached his ceiling and we see that. If Miles starts the season with Jennings at the helm, LSU fans will be calling for his head.
