Other than Darensbourg, can the OT recommend any BR-area shoe-repair locations?

Isn't there some place called like Millitello's or something? I really have no idea I just want to say I've heard of it.

They still have a Darensbourg doing shoe repairs in BR? Where at?

Militello's on Corporate or Sherwood. They do good, cheap work. Get my shoes shined there regularly.

They repaired some shoes for me about a year or so ago over in the Drusilla shopping center. At least I thought they did. Hell I'm 36 as of the 1st of the month, my mind may be going already.

No, I just didn't know. Family's been in the shoe repair business in and around BR for like 100 years. I didn't realize they still were.

This. Good work. Fair prices. They do all of my dress shoes. I take all my new shoes (mostly Florsheims) there before wearing for heel guards and a non-slip rubber half-sole. They'll last forever after that. They do shoe shines that are fairly good. I prefer to DIY for that though--especially during football season. I can sit there and polish shoes for a whole game--getting great looking shoes and zero bitching from Mrs. FCP. Well, at least zero complaints about my watching football. She'll find something to complain about, but at least I get a small break on that particular refrain.

Resoled my favorite pair of boots and cleaned them up. $62

Still cheaper than dropping $300 on a new pair

Used them decades ago - cobbling is almost dead, but if they're still operating, they can probably handle it.

Darensbourg still in that little place off Gubment?

That guy could work magic on white bucks that had been through the worst beer/piss gravy imaginable.
