bowl games are essentially meaningless unless you are in the playoffs

May be meaningless in the grand scheme but an unprepared or uninspired performance reflects on the staff's ability to prepare the team which IMO is not meaningless.

the best trend is to look at conference record. There has certainly been a decline.

You stay off Rummy's board, negatiger.

Let's see if this works this time.

Maybe this will work.

Was Bear stubborn enough to continue to try something that wasn't working AKA sticking a square peg in a round hole continuously?

Or did he adapt and change?

I think Chavis should get this last bowl loss. D looked damn good last 6 games and were horrible against ND. Kids knew he was leaving, or realized he wasn't himself in prep and figured it out and/or simply weren't prepared by the DC.

I give Les credit for the win in the ND game.
That was a touchdown.

Why are we comparing Miles and Bear Bryant. For a better comparison, compare Mack Brown.

Stoops and Richt would be in this tier

Unless it's the championship game I don't care about bowl games

It's pretty selective to take a bowl record over a period of time and compare. I hate Bama, but Les Miles will never be mentioned in the same breath as Bryant.

You are using stats that simply don't support a Miles resurgence.

What Miles better do this year is beat Alabama.
