I would like to see the Date/Time of the OP next to the Name of the OPster. That way we would know if something is news or old with new comment. Would be extremely helpful!!!!

Are you implying that I'm confused?

He's requesting it to be on the page with the list of topics started. So he doesn't have to click in the thread to see when it was posted.

At least I think...

Hey Rummy, while we're at it, I would love to see which team everyone supports. Wouldn't it be cool if every username could have a little team logo next to it? TIA

BINGO! yes, I could have been clearer on this. I hate clicking on a post only to find out it was started a month ago about a similar topic.

Things typically don't last so long that it becomes an issue.

Besides, if you post something a month later, especially if it's a news story, then it likely shouldn't be posted anyway.

If a general interest topic, then you might have to deal with some "Germans" bullshite, but it shouldn't be an issue otherwise.

That's only my humble opinion...

Have you ever given someone a timeout for a "germans" comment?

On each message board, you have the headers:

Topic, Started By, Replies, and Last Post.

I am requesting, Topic, Started By, Started On, Replies, and Last Post. I am sure everyone would enjoy the benefit of having the date of the first post on the Message Board home page. Even Frank Moore could make this change - can't be that hard.

You are right on this. I should not have used a month as an example. How about considering how fast things change on the Coaching Changes board. People are checking that board hourly or more for news as I am sure you can tell by the number of users online. I would help us to know if something is really news or a post that may be an hour or two old. I am not complaining, just trying to help everyone out.

That would make it even worse...

For the boards that are turning over at a high rate, then they would all have the same day, the day of, as the top-20 would likely be changing quickly.

Also, if there was that much going on, then the info that stays on the first page is likely the most relevant and has the most up to date info in it, thus there would be no need for a new thread.
