Hey Cad, need some help with my Schlage connect lock

Yep. I know exactly what is going on. The lock attempts to auto sense which direction it's installed (since the door might open from the left or right).

I had the exact problem and called schlage and they walked me through a quick factory reset and that fixed it.

Unfortunately I failed to write down how to do this. It's something to do with removing the battery case.. pressing the schlage button and then holding down a couple buttons when you put the battery pack back in.

Call schlage.. They pick up the phone on like the third ring and are very helpful.

I love my new lock. The tamper alarm is an easy way to piss off the wife. Still haven't it hooked into any wifi source yet though
