Has anyone on the OT gone to law school in the Caribbean or knows someone that has and could share some info or experiences?

How can that not be anything but a great experience? Best of luck to you.

I can sort of see doing to the Caribbean thing for medical school because even the worst doctor is probably somewhat smart. But, if you can't get into a low end law school in the U.S., I don't even know what to say.

Well, if it's one of those foreign study deals that gets you credit here, I say go for it.

Oh lord. Just take a nice vacation in the Caribbean. Why would you go to law school there?

Where would you get a job with a degree from some sketchy island school?

I liked the question about where would you get a job with a degree from a sketchy school

A very good friend of mine played in college through his first 2 years back when we went to LSU. He took a few years off from school. He got serious about school but could not make up the GPA that he had screwed up.

He went to the Caribbean medical school and is an ER doctor. He make very god money. You wouldn't even have a clue that he didn't go to school here in the states.

No, but I did watch a documentary about the weird DHL guy who died in Guam. They interviewed a few of his lawyers there and it seemed like a great place to practice.

For a school of last resort, The Charlotte School of Law would probably be a better bet if you can afford the tuition.
