So glad we have college playoffs now

If it was still the BCS championship it would have been FSU vs Alabama. Both teams proved last night to not be deserving.
Gonna be great for the sport. Especially when they expand it to 8+

Agreed with everything up until:
Four is the right number. In ensures that the best team doesn't get left out, yet it doesn't let in a bunch of undeserving teams.

I'm hoping for an 8 team playoff because mainly I think there wouldn't be such a large gap between conference championships and legit bowl games. more quality games like yesterday

They were because they're in, but they controlled their own destiny and blew it as well.
They left it up to someone else and if they wouldn't have made it they could only blame themselves.

No. 6 teams, 8 teams would make it worse. There are more 2-loss/3-loss teams than 1-loss teams. Expanding the field would make it ridiculous.

6 team playoff using the playoff format the NFL uses would be perfect. 1 and 2 get a week off and 3-6 duke it out. Everybody else gets the bowl games.

I think it is hard to say who is deserving. I am for LSU but Alabama ket the game close. Just because you lose does not make you undeserving. They just got beat in that game.
It is like hearing someone say, "Well, we beat that team and they are in the title."
Well, by that logic. Auburn killed LSU, LSU beat Wisconsin and Wisconsin beat Auburn. So really it is who prepares for that game better. Who has a healthy team. Who makes less mistakes. Who matches up better against who.
Because Arizona beat Oregon, but loses to Boise State. I don't think Arizona beats Florida State. I think the four teams got in that had to get in, people would complain if an undefeated FSU did not get in with four teams being invited. I think Oregon was their worse matchup possible. Sad thing is TCU deserved to be in. And I think if we had been an eight team bracket. It is possible Baylor takes out someone before being eliminated. As it would be any of those eight teams. Hell, maybe even Oregon gets upset before the title game. That is why you have a playoff to see these upsets.

The NFL format works because they have only two conferences. The sample size of the games and the rules makes it easier to determine who goes. Win your division and two best teams determined by the rules.
We don't have that here. We have people who sit in a room and finger themselves over teams like Ole Miss for half the season and not know what they are doing for the most part.

That's some seriously stupid shite. They did because they're in? They're in because a committee of biased 'football people' saw more money with Ohio St. In as opposed to TCU. So that makes them deserving but not TCU? bullshite. They both should've played.
