Coach Briles lacks a real DC. Coach Phil Bennett is terrible as a DC. LSU lacks a real OC.
If you look at Briles over the years, he has taken many QBs and developed them as for as college football. He would do great at LSU with a real DC. Baylor's defense lost the game, not the offense when you score 41 points. It is wishful thinking to get Briles now since Coach Miles still has the job.

Briles sort of reminds me of Curly Hallman when he talks. Wonder how good of a coach he would be with a below-average QB?
