Watching the cotton bowl and during a replay the booth announcer said lets bring in our consulting official here with us to analyze the replay.

What would the consulting official have said?

"There is visual evidence that the player extended the ball over the plane of the goal line without being down"

Also, I was watching another game and the consultant was not at the game. They were somewhere else and could look at the replays and give their opinion. Guy was never on camera so no need to be "at" the game.

1. Who gives a shite?

2. ESPN ain't spending the money to fly an officiating consultant to the Music City Bowl.

Have the networks used consultants at all of the lesser bowls or was it just the Music City that was slighted?

Actually irrelevant since the whole world except the replay official could see it was a TD. The consultant would not have helped our cause unless he could influence the replay official.
