Chavis doesn't coach the DBs so if that was his reasoning then he wasn't really LSU

That article isnt even close to accurate. It says he switched from LSU to UT and that Kyle phillips said that Brick was leaving too. Kyle said that LSU was still in play because of Brick staying and Martin was never committed

you REALLY don't know me! i'm just very realistic about the situation... he's was never "ours".... he never verbally committed here... we have very highly rated guys that will sign with us that have more eligibility, and will likely develop into better players later than Martin is right now...
i'm not saying the dude is shite, but i'm just saying that in THIS cycle, with what we have committed and what we currently have on the roster, i'm good with what we have... if this was a QB or a lineman, i'd be singing a different tune, but he's a CB, a position we are fine at and will be getting even stronger in the near future

Toliver already stated that he was staying because Raymond is his position coach and the guy he has most connection with. He stated that he will be working personally with Raymond and that he committed to LSU because he wanted to be at LSU.
I don't have a premium account or "in the know" on all the recruiting stuff, but the first time i heard about this JUCO Martin, was when it was posted on here, that he had us as his leader. I had to go look the guy up after that. IMO Martin didn't really want to be at LSU. They guy IMMEDIATELY committed to Tennessee as soon as Chavis was gone. Does that sound like a guy who really wanted to be here?
IMO it's no real loss. We are loaded at that position and if we get Jackson, it will become almost unfair.
