Why are people talking up for this clown(Chavis)?

How is LSU at fault here? Texas A&M are the idiots that are desperate enough to overpay this guy. Don't blame LSU for standing there ground when they've rewarded him handsomely since he's been here. He's been one of the highest paid assistants in the whole country. They've been extremely generous to chief financially and he wants to act like a little bitch over the same clause that's standard in any assistants contact. Now he leaves us for a division rival?

This is LSU! We've had great defenses before him and we'll have great defenses after him. He had been good but he's been far from perfect. This is the same guy that left Welter on the field over a guy that was obviously better suited for the position for a season and a half! The same guy who goes conservative late in games to give the other team a go ahead score! It sucks that it happened so late but it is far from the end of the world. I really believe a lot of coaches could do what he's done here considering the talent he's had too work with. He didn't get the name third and Chavis for no reason. It's a risk bringing in someone new but it's very possible that it could be an upgrade for us. No one man is bigger than this program and certainly not John Chavis!
