LSU vs A&M next year

with Chief as their DC he will know our offensive tendencies. does that spell doom?
well, imo, every other defense in the league knows our tendencies already. we SHOULD be able to compensate for that. it will take a great game plan and solid execution (esp in passing game)
BUT, we will know his tendencies too. and that could be more important.
we should run a lot of QB draw plays. everybody else has success with this kind of play. also, if the game is close late in the 4th we know he plays real soft and usually brings the house on 3rd and long.
my point is that IF WE MAKE THE RIGHT HIRE at DC and our coaches compensate it might not be that big of a deal in THAT game.
to land on our feet, we have to make a great hire and we have the money to attract a real good DC. if this guy can save our recruiting class we should be alright. let the aggies have the "bragging rights". LSU better pony up and hire us a good and a proven DC.

Chief will take a couple of years before his defense becomes the machine it was at LSU

Yes. He will put 8, 9, and sometimes 10 in the box and make Jennings try to beat them with his arm.

I don't think any "inside the program" info is necessary to gameplan for our O.
Chief's inside info is not necessary to put 8/9 in the box and dare us to throw.
