Bitdefender question

Has anyone had any issues with it? I installed it a few months ago and my laptop hasn't been "right" since. Slower start up, IE times out constantly, some freezing etc.
Just curious if any one else had similar experiences. I also have hitman pro & malware bytes. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I never said I was an expert at this shite. It's a work laptop so I'm not paying for anything.
