I was listen to talking heads after UK beat Louisville and they were talking about whether they could run the table this year. The experts said two games were possibly trouble, the first one was Florida in Gainesville and the next tough one was LSU in Baton Rouge. ( I kid you not) This is the second time I have heard this. They were saying that LSU has length and shooters that could give the wildcats problems if they were on. Get your tickets early and pack the PMAC.

This isn't news. We all knew this already. I mean, all basketball supporters knew this.

Gray, Hornsby, TQ, and Patterson all averaging over 32% from 3pt coming into the game. Martin has found his stroke after a poor start too.

LSU doesn't have fantastic shooters, but we're not awful.

Gray and Hornsby can get hot, but they are very streaky, Quarterman is an average at best shooter, Patterson I'm undecided on, seems like he may be able to stroke.

Still, a "shooter" is someone who is deadly from 3, we don't have that guy, except when Gray or Hornsby are hot

I hope they are good this year but I don't really pay attention until League play starts but Man do I miss having them in the dance. The SEC needs LSU to be good again in basketball.

not hype it's the truth

LSU, if things continue to come together, looks like the second best team in the SEC

let's see how things continue going forward but I like what I've seen recently

This is the first year I have followed LSU Basketball every game. They have improved every game and are really starting to play like one team.

Now that we play defense, we look really good. Mickey is such a force down low, I think he's the most improved defender on the team. Yea he got his blocks last year but his timing and patience is on another level now.

For anyone to beat UK they are going to have to shoot it well from outside. They just have too much height and length inside.

LSU gave them fits last year, but a large part of that was JOBII hitting 10 ft jumpers and just bullying UK's big men. LSU doesn't have a guy that can physically control the post this year. The do have Martin though that can drag one of UK's 7 footers to the perimeter. It would also be great if Robinson could give you ANYTHING in that game. A front line of Robinson/Martin/Mickey probably would match up better with UK than anyone else in the SEC if Robinson provided some production. Unfortunately, he hasn't shown may signs of that happening.

LSU should get open looks from deep against UK if Gray creates them. No one in the SEC can stay in front him. Basically, he will need to play like Hickey did last season if LSU wants to have a chance. Remember, Hickey completely controlled both games last year

32% doesn't really qualify someone as being a legitimate 3pt threat. However, Hornsby and Patterson are shooting well. Also, Martin and Quarterman have shown the ability to get hot.
