Got my wife a 6 plus a couple a days ago. Thing's a beast. She's in heaven. Says it's basically like having a mini that can take calls. We used it to Facetime with a our large group with some out of state family and the screen was huge so everyone could clearly see them on our end.

i sold my 6+ and got a 6 b.c I found it to be annoying as a phone.

I was thinking the same thing as you and just found it to be too cumbersome as a phone, and not big enough to be a tablet.
