Bucks only.
The woods are flooded, had to wear chest waders to get in here. Wouldn't be surprised if a deer comes swimming by lol.

I love when you get up plenty early, make you a big thermos of coffe, slip out to the stand and get settled in a good 40 minutes before daylight. Get in blind bag and figure out you left the got damn coffee back at the camp. Fml

Ground blind, field, bow
Calm, cooler, cloudy

Deer were on the move early. Jumped a couple near the blind on the way in. Had one pass through blowing like a freight train about 10 minutes after I sat down, and then two more in front of the camera about an hour ago. Hopefully they keep it up.

Also heard a lot of racket in the timber behind me that's now holding water. I assumed it was some kind of loud arse frogs but now wondering if it may have been ducks. I'll have to see if I can find the sound somewhere on the net later since the only thing I know about ducks is what a wood duck sounds like and the calling I see on TV.

Just had a great looking yearling buck right under me. He'll be a stud in four years. Already has a tall symmetrical set of forks.

In the lounge chair fighting this dam cold. Been up before midnight again and I'm running on empty. Besides that, I have 6 lbs of fluid weight that is not helping. I'm in a catch 22 now. The wife is about to call New Orleans on my arse.

Told her I would divorce her if she did.
