Texas Tech sent 8 coaches to see him at once. Seems to have made an impression.
Texas Tech would have been better off having some of those coaches teaching their players to block and tackle.

Stranger things happen in recruiting. Just ignore anything about him until signing day

That's what I'm doing too

They are going to talk, but until he publicly commits I won't worry.

Yea auburn and Clemson were his leader at one point and they didn't even make his top 3. I quit watching after that

You guys don't really think he is going to pick 5-7 texas tech or 6-6 ok state over lsu right. Come on guys let's be real here the kid is going to lsu.

He wants to catch passes, and OSU and Texas Tech average more pass completions per game than LSU has pass attempts.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that 5 star wide receivers aren't exactly enthusiastic about coming here.

Then why not go to Oregon? Or some other school that throws the ball and actually wins games. This dude can go anywhere he wants and he's picking between those 2? I'm not buying it..

I'd take D Mack and Leo Lewis over two Tyron Johnsons.

Red, just look at it. The fact he'd even entertain going to TTU should tell you everything you need to know. They won 4 fricking games in the Big 12 and yet he still clearly likes them more than us. The last receiver they had drafted was Michael Crabtree and he wouldn't even be a top 5 LSU produced reviewer. Our two rookies are better than him. They lost their all world 5 star QB and they're located in fricking Lubbock. Kid is either pulling a massive troll job or is more concerned about putting up numbers than wining.

It's really odd that's for sure. Top 25 player in the country and these are his top two. It's baffling.

Well Jarvis and Odell both committed to LSU when Jefferswag was qb and not much passing games but both had 1000 yard seasons as a junior with a later stud QB. I understand he wants to be the guy, but If he's legit he can eventually be one of the guys and be a part of something special. All the while having security in the fact LSU puts receivers in the NFL.

While I agree, we can't just keep missing out on 5 star players and expect to field elite units.

Imagine what our offense could look like in 2016 had we kept some of the top talent in state - Robinson anchoring the left side of the line, with Harris/Jennings throwing to Speedy and Johnson.
